The logistics specialist position is responsible for keeping our customers, shippers, receivers and partner carriers satisfied in regards to the coordination of shipments. The position involves a great deal of communication and team work in tracking and tracing the carriers before and after a shipment has been picked up. We are a logistics company providing transportation solutions to Fortune 1000 companies. This is an entry level position that requires a 4-year business or communications degree that assists our experienced account managers through customer service to our clients and carriers. Other requirements include a high-level of computer systems skills with the ability to toggle many screens. Strong direct communication, multi-tasking and problem solving skills are a must with a desire to learn processes, build customer relationships and enjoy dealing with a variety of daily challenges and people. This is an hourly position between 7a-5:30p for approximately 40 hours per week.
