Job Summary
The Logistics Coordinator serves primarily as a “track & trace” position to gain experience utilizing the TMS system and learning company procedures. The growth potential for this role is a promotion to carrier sales or account management position once proven comfortable assisting customers and managing customer account details efficiently.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Tracking shipments and confirming details of freight movement.
- Establishing ETAs for pickup and deliveries.
- Alerting account management team, sales carrier team, and company management of any potential issues or delays that arise with a shipment.
- Providing customers with updates and answers to inquiries concerning their freight solution.
Required Skills
- Must be organized and able to multitask by handling multiple transactions and short-term projects simultaneously.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with teammates to perform duties via phone and email.
- Perform data entry within TMS (Transportation Management System) utilizing screen toggle.
- Must have strong communication skills to communicate issues you encounter with the account, sales, and management teams.
- Service-oriented, respond to requests from internal and external customers.
- Detail-oriented and able to work proactively and effectively with minimal supervision.
- Team-oriented, possess a positive attitude, and work well with others.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
- Excel, Word Suite, and overall computer proficiency
- Logistics experience a plus

Job Summary
The Carriers Sales Representative is primarily responsible for securing capacity for our customers needing to transport their freight. This is a high-energy position that actively works with customer carriers and other transportation companies to negotiate rates and secure coverage/service for our customer base. This position requires a high volume of communication via phone, email, online, TMS systems, and more.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Responsible for negotiating with carriers to get the best rate possible while still providing service to all available committed freight customers.
- Track the full-cycle shipment process and enter updates into the internal TMS system.
- Providing updates to Customers, Shippers, and Receivers via phone calls and emails.
- Making a high volume of recruitment calls to carriers increases customer acquisition and retention and maximizes revenues and margins.
Required Skills
- Ability to multi-task between several transactions simultaneously while delivering results for customers.
- Ability to build relationships to secure repeat business with your customer carrier base.
- Strong communication skills when speaking with customers, co-workers, account managers, and management.
- Conduct and maintain a high level of professionalism, integrity, and transparency with operational colleagues and leadership.

- Transportation, freight, logistics, or brokerage/sales.
